Siddle Family Foundation Small Grants Program 2023

Australia is a beautiful, relatively wealthy country. But our wealth isn’t necessarily distributed evenly and our society has a handful of highly complex, long-term problems that affect some communities more than others. As an organisation committed to helping create a better, fairer Australia, we’ve thought deeply and carefully about where and how we can have the greatest, most beneficial impact. This has led us to a clear strategic focus on housing, income and relationships. Concentrating our work on specific issues in these areas and, importantly, the points where they’re interconnected, will propel us towards our overarching vision – creating safe homes to enable families to thrive.

The Siddle Family Foundation is currently exploring places that are close to our family’s heart including the Northern Rivers and The Mid North Coast. We are growing our understanding of the history and culture of each place and we want to know if there is a clear role for us to play. We aspire to let these communities lead us toward the positive impact we hope to make.

We are delighted to announce a SFF Small Grants Program! We hope this grant program will deepen our understanding of communities in the Mid North Coast and the Northern Rivers. We are looking to connect with community-led and informed programs that are responding to the intersection of issues around housing, relationships and sustainable incomes.

Grant Details

From the time we have spent in communities so far, we have consistently heard there is a need for more support for:

  • Families that are impacted by the cost of living crisis
  • Young people and their hopes for the future
  • Women over 55 who are, or are at risk of homelessness

We invite eligible organisations that work with and for these groups to apply for a one-off grant.

Grants will be between $10,000 and $50,000 to a total pool of $500,000

This donation is a one-off gift, not an ongoing commitment, and is not subject to GST.
